FAQ

Here are the answers to some questions you might have.  If not, email your questions to webmaster@centralalwoodcarving.com.

Q: I have my own carving tools. Do I have to buy yours?
A: No. You can use tools from any source you wish. However, you will be required to wear a glove and thumb guard during class.

Q: I want to learn more about the beginner class. Where should I go?
A: Visit our "Learn Carving" page for detailed information.

Q: How do I become a member? How much does it cost?
A: Annual dues are $20.00/ family $15/individual. Visit one of our monthly meetings and speak with our President.

Q: What's the youngest student that you'll teach?
A: All children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent during training sessions. Your child must demonstrate mental and physical maturity in handling a knife. From our experience, we see these traits developing in children when they are at least teenagers.
